Description
This Native American style dreamcatcher is a decorative wall hanging featuring a circular frame with a woven web and natural feathers. It is inspired by the legend of the dreamcatcher from the Great Plains Native Americans, believed to filter good dreams through the center hole while trapping bad dreams in the web to perish with the dawn light.
The dreamcatcher is new and comes packaged as shown in the photos.
Legend of the Dreamcatcher:
Native Americans of the Great Plains believe the air is filled with both good and bad dreams. According to legend, the good dreams pass through the center hole to the sleeping person. The bad dreams are trapped in the web, where they perish in the light of dawn. Historically, dreamcatchers were hung in the tipi or lodge and on a baby’s cradle board.
